FOUNDATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Peak's DEVO program is designed around foundational athletic development. Its stated focus areas are strength, power, agility and endurance. The training priorities for an individual athlete depend on their experience, current sport and physical preparation. Before enrolling, ask which exercises and movement drills are used, how sessions are adjusted for different abilities, and what the athlete should bring.
Learn core movement patterns (squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling) with bodyweight and age-appropriate resistance to build a durable physical foundation.
Develop explosive hip drive and triple extension mechanics through medicine ball throws, jumps, and ground-force development drills.
Practice deceleration, stopping mechanics, and rapid changes of direction under control to reduce non-contact injury risks.
Build the aerobic and anaerobic work capacity needed to repeat athletic efforts throughout full practices and late-game competitive situations.
The coach selects exercises according to the training plan and each athlete's needs. Parents can contact Peak to confirm the exercises, session format, and coaching approach used in DEVO.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Peak describes DEVO as a strength and conditioning program for athletes at different skill levels. The coaching team can help parents determine whether the program suits their child's experience and goals.
Children who participate in sports can develop basic strength and movement skills through suitable training.
Athletes who play organized sports can work on physical skills that complement regular practice.
Players can focus on strength, power, agility, and endurance according to their sport's physical demands.
Contact Peak Fitness Academy to confirm the minimum age, eligible age groups, and any entry requirements.
THE PROCESS
DEVO is Peak Fitness Academy's athlete-preparation program. Parents should be able to understand the first steps before committing. Ask how the coach reviews an athlete's experience, decides on initial training priorities and adjusts activities as skills develop. Also confirm the session length, group size, age eligibility and whether parents receive progress updates. Peak should publish its actual process once Greg confirms these details.

GOT QUESTIONS?
DEVO stands for Development Athlete Training. At Peak Fitness Academy, it is our dedicated athlete preparation program built around four core physical pillars: foundational strength, power development, agility mechanics, and athletic endurance.
DEVO is primarily organized for developing youth and middle school athletes preparing for organized sports. Because group dynamics and training safety depend on maturity and physical readiness, contact Coach Greg directly to confirm the current age brackets and group placement.
No previous gym or lifting experience is required. DEVO is specifically designed to teach foundational movement patterns, body control, and lifting etiquette safely from day one, before advancing to higher loads or complex exercises.
During the first session, Coach Greg introduces the athlete to the training facility, explains proper gym safety, observes fundamental movement mechanics during warm-ups, and coaches foundational exercises with appropriate regressions. Parents are encouraged to discuss the athlete's current sport schedule and goals.
Parents can confirm current DEVO training rates, multi-session packages, and enrollment availability by calling (704) 816-0571 or emailing peakfitness1123@gmail.com. Peak Fitness Academy does not publish unverified online pricing; all fees and options are confirmed directly before enrollment.
